What to know
Useful management starts by preventing access: pick up faeces promptly, supervise and reinforce alternative behaviour. If the behaviour starts suddenly, is intense, or comes with weight loss, diarrhoea, excessive hunger or other changes, veterinary assessment is appropriate.
